A Note From Kristen

I make these air fryer frozen green beans constantly because they give me crisp, flavorful results with almost zero prep. Cooking them straight from frozen keeps things fast while still delivering a fresh taste and lightly crunchy texture that never feels soggy. They work just as well for snacking as they do as a simple vegetable side, and the method is so reliable that I get great results every single time. Bonus: they’re naturally gluten free, vegan, and packed with fiber and vitamins, so they feel a little indulgent without actually being one. Happy eating!

Will Fresh Green Beans Work?

I like to use frozen green beans because it’s so much easier. They also taste just as delicious and have the same great crunchy texture as fresh beans. However, if you want to use fresh beans, of course, you can! Fresh green beans won’t need as long to cook, so adjust to 10 minutes.

Kristen’s Top Tips

  • I’ve found ½ tsp of salt to be the perfect amount, but feel free to add more or less according to your personal taste.
  • Mix your salt, pepper and garlic powder before coating the green beans to ensure more even coverage.
  • Using frozen green beans will save you so much time, and they taste amazing!
