When you don’t have much time to cook, sautéed mushrooms are a simple side dish. Learn how to make easy sautéed baby bella mushrooms with this easy recipe here!
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the butter, olive oil, lemon juice and vinegar. Stir until the butter has melted.
Add the mushrooms to the pan, and the thyme if using. If using a small skillet, you want to aim for one single layer of mushrooms, so cook in batches if need be.
Cook, stirring frequently about five minutes, or until the mushrooms soften a little and begin to turn golden.
Turn off the heat, season with salt and pepper, serve and enjoy!

This simple recipe is surprisingly tasty! Having said that, it also makes a great base recipe to experiment and make your own. You can also throw some onions and garlic into the mix to saute alongside the mushrooms, throw in different herbs and spices, a condiment such as soy sauce or even use other mushrooms such as shiitake or oyster mushrooms.
