Spicy Cilantro Avocado Hummus (Vegan, Gluten-Free)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked fresh or canned chickpeas
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • 3 tbs lemon juice
  • 3 tbs olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/4 – 1/2 tsp dependent upon how spicy you like things red chili flakes
  • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  • to taste sea salt

Instructions

  • In a food processor or high speed blender combine all of the above ingredients.
  • Blend until smooth or desired consistency.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Serve, and enjoy!
