Chocolate Balsamic Glazed Pears
Tender, buttery roasted pears with a sticky chocolate-balsamic glaze, topped with crunchy toasted pecans. This special dish makes a delightful side or dessert for holiday feasts!

Bosc pears
cored and halved

butter
use plant-based butter if preferred, divided

cup
balsamic vinegar

maple syrup
or any sweetener of choice

raw pecans
coarsely chopped or crushed

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375℉.
Place the pear halves, cut side up, in an oven-safe pan, and top each with a pat of butter.
Roast the pears for 20 minutes, or until fork-tender.
Take the pan out of the oven and gently flip each pear half so the cut side faces down. Return to the oven and roast for 5 more minutes.
While the pears are roasting, add the balsamic vinegar to a small pot over medium heat on the stovetop.
Allow the vinegar to simmer for 5 minutes, while whisking continuously, until reduced by about half.
Once the vinegar has reduced, turn off the heat, then whisk in the
Earth Echo Cacao Bliss
and maple syrup.
In a skillet over high heat, add the pecans. Toast the pecans, stirring frequently, for 1-2 minutes, or until smelling toasty. Set aside.
Remove the pears from the oven, then flip them cut side up. Drizzle with the chocolate balsamic glaze.
Sprinkle with toasted pecans before serving.
