Crispy Cajun tofu bites deliver the perfect balance of spice and crunch. Make them in the oven, skillet, or air fryer for an easy, flavor-packed snack!
Drain and press the tofu for at least 10 minutes to remove excess moisture. If you do not have a tofu press, you can wrap the tofu in a clean dishcloth and set it on a cutting board with a heavy object on top.
Using your hands, tear the tofu into uneven chunks (this gives more surface area for crispy edges!).
In a large bowl, combine the oil, coconut aminos, vinegar, cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, pepper and maple syrup. Mix well.
Toss the torn tofu pieces in the marinade, ensuring they’re well-coated.
Let sit for 10-15 minutes (or longer for deeper flavor).
Proceed with one of the following three methods:
Oven Method
Preheat the oven to 400℉.
Bake for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking time.
Air Fryer Method
Spread the tofu in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Air fry at 375℉ for 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
Pan-Fry Method
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with 1-2 tablespoons of oil (I like to use avocado oil).
Cook for 7 minutes, flipping occasionally, until crispy on all sides.

Notes
Keep in mind that the tofu continues to crisp up as it cools.
