Vegan Cashew Gravy

  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup raw cashews
  • 2 tablespoons tapioca starch
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt or pink salt


  • In a food processor or high speed blender, combine all of the above ingredients.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Pour into a sauce pan and stir over medium heat until thickened.
  • Serve, and enjoy!
