I make a lot of smoothies these days. With two young kiddos in tow a smoothie is always my back-up when the picky eating kicks in! This Cardamom Maca Walnut Smoothie packs a wonderful nutrition punch with the use of the adaptogen maca; protein, omega-3 and nutrient-rich walnuts; and potassium-rich bananas!
What are some of the wonderful health benefits of maca? Maca is rich in heart-healthy antioxidants, provides a healthy energy boost, elevates your mood, enchances your memory, and balances your hormones! It truly is a magical little root!
Throw in a little cardamom and you have one DIVINELY tasty smoothie that is:
