Maple syrup: Maple syrup adds a small amount of additional sweetness, but feel free to omit it if you prefer. Alternatively, you can use agave syrup, vegan honey, or honey if not vegan.
Vanilla extract: A subtle hint of vanilla enhances the chocolate and peanut butter flavors. If you do not have any on hand, it is okay to do without if need be.
Salt: A pinch of salt brings out all of the flavor notes.
Quinoa puffs: Puffed quinoa is simply quinoa that has been popped, much like popcorn kernels. The result is a texture reminiscent of rice crispies, adding a nice crunch along with all the nutritional benefits of quinoa.

what are quinoa puffs?
Hi! When you toast dry quinoa in a hot skillet, it will pop (much like popcorn), resulting in a puffier, lighter, crunchier quinoa that is reminiscent of puffed rice. I hope this helps!
