This Golden Tahini Sauce is my most loved and oft-used condiment. Turmeric and tahini pair extraordinarily well together in this versatile sauce that suits a variety of dishes. You can find this recipe in my book, The Vegetarian Family Cookbook.
This delightful condiment combines two of my very favorite things! Turmeric and tahini do complement each other quite beautifully; and I KNOW you will feel the same!
I love using this sauce over chickpea pasta, zoodles, in veggie wraps, as a dipping sauce, drizzled over buddha bowls and more. I’m sure you’ll find some of your own favorites ways, too!

Golden Turmeric Tahini Sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 2 tbs apple cider vinegar
- 2 garlic cloves finely minced or grated
- 2 tsp ground turmeric
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- In a large bowl combine all ingredients.
- Whisk until smooth.
- Store in a lidded container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
