Expert Tips
- For an extra rich flavor, use coconut milk instead of water to adjust the consistency of the cilantro sauce.
- You can also let the sauce rest for 30 minutes to an hour before serving. This deepens the overall taste by allowing the flavors to meld together.
- Variations of this cilantro sauce include:
- Adding fresh herbs like dill, parsley, or mint for extra layers of flavor.
- Blending in some lime zest for extra zing.
- For additional creaminess, blend in a ripe avocado.
- For smoky notes, incorporate smoked paprika or chipotle peppers.
