Sweet, salty, and crave-worthy — this easy chocolate chip cookie granola delivers all the cookie flavor with a crunchy twist and a touch of delicious sea salt.

A Note From Kristen
If you’re anything like me, having a batch of homemade granola on hand feels like a little kitchen win. This Salted Chocolate Chip Cookie Granola is everything I crave in a snack — sweet, salty, crunchy, and just the right amount of indulgent. Inspired by the flavor of a warm chocolate chip cookie, but made with feel-good ingredients like oats and maple syrup. But the real secret? A generous sprinkle of coarse unrefined sea salt that ties it all together. That salty finish takes each bite to the next level, balancing the sweetness and making those little chocolate chips pop. It’s naturally gluten-free and vegan, easy to make, and seriously hard to stop snacking on — just how I like it!

Ava Jane’s Kitchen Colima Sea Salt
Ava Jane Kitchen’s Colima Sea Salt is truly unlike any other salt I’ve tried. It’s hand-harvested from crystal-clear lagoons in Sayulita, Mexico, unrefined, and completely free from microplastics and additives. Rich in minerals that support heart health, it has a soft, almost fluffy texture that melts beautifully into both sweet and savory recipes. I love how it adds the perfect salty finish to this granola — it truly makes each bite pop. If you want to try it for yourself, you can use the code YUM for 25% off your order. It’s one of those little pantry upgrades that makes a big difference!

What exactly is the baking soda for? Seems a strange addition for granola.
Hi! Thanks for visiting. The baking soda actually helps the granola cluster and gives a lighter, crispier, cookie-like texture. It also helps reduce the overall acidity and enhances those caramel-like overtones. I hope this helps! 🙂
