Giving Spice Mixes as Gifts
Homemade spice blends make the perfect special gift for the cooking enthusiasts in your life! Once you make a spice mix, you can choose to wrap and present it a myriad of ways. Here are some of my favorite ways to gift spices:
- Pour the spice blend into a nice mason jar, then crew the lid on tightly. Tie some pretty ribbon around the lid of the jar, then stick a printed label on the body of the jar. You can write a special note, a simple "to and from", or simply label the name of the spice.
- I also love to gift spices in cute little corked bottles with an embossed label stuck on with the name of the spice.
- You call also store the spices in small plastic or paper bags with reclosable zippers and adhere a printed gift label on the front.
