Ingredient Notes

Milk: I love the creaminess of oat milk, but you can use dairy milk or any plant-based milk you prefer.

Lemon: A fresh lemon half works best in this recipe, as the lemon peel releases essential oils that make this recipe really unique and flavorful. Having said that, if you only have access to bottled lemon juice, add two tablespoons during the same step that you add maple syrup for the closest results.

Lavender: You want to be certain to use culinary-grade dried lavender flowers. If you only have fresh lavender, it will work with similar results, but you will want to use one and a fourth cups instead.

Earth Echo Cacao Bliss: Cacao Bliss gives this drink all that big chocolate flavor as well as additional minerals and nutrients, making this one of the healthiest hot chocolates you’ll ever consume.

Vanilla extract: A hint of vanilla both enhances the chocolate flavor and also softens the lemon, leading to a well-balanced beverage. Feel free to omit if you don’t have any on hand.

Maple syrup: A touch of maple syrup lends additional sweetness, but you can omit it if you prefer or use any other sweetener of your choice. You can also adjust the amount to suit your palate.
